Wednesday

After hitting the IHOP just before noon for breakfast,we headed for Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center
IT WAS AMAZING

Peg's new broom

Very Impressive

This is the launch pad they will be using this Sunday
Endeavor is already sitting there attached to the main fuel cell(orange)
They would not let us get any closer

This is the crawler they use to move the shuttle to the launch pad.
It travels at speeds of almost 1 mile per hour and gets 42 gallons per mile
It also weighs about 11 million pounds with the shuttle on it.

Oh ya it cost $14 Million

This is a piece of the moon which they have mounted in glass and there are slots in it so we got to touch the moon

To top off the day we rode in the simulator-COOL
