It's cold and miserable again

So we went shopping,always a favorite pastime,yea right.

What can I tell ya!

Retirement can be a bitch.

Saturday

Peggy did a super clean on the motor home and I finished installing my fridge slide out tray.

Then I organized the basement again.

Next thing you know the neighbor is over and it's happy hour.

After that we BBQ'd some steaks(they were good but not Alberta Beef)

That's about it

Friday

After licking my wounds from yesterday I decided to install my pull-out tray for the beer fridge.

Peg went for a pedicure..

Anyway-first of all it came with rivets,had to go buy a rivet tool
             -rivet tool did not work-go buy another one
             -then I needed less than a 1/2 sheet of plywood-mooched that from a construction site
             -then I needed to cut it-bought a hand saw
             -because of the fridge door opening,had to make modifications to plans
             -time to install but I need carriage bolts-
             -just going to head to the store when the neighbor shows up
xo#& it -time to drink some beer
             -I guess it's a project to be finished another day

Next thing you know..............It's Pizza and poker nite

Thursday

We went golfing again today.

We played with Bob and his son Bob

We played,not true,I didn't play.

Peggy went golfing I went hacking.

I got my butt whooped.

This was not the only birdie I saw today

Because Peg shot her best game I bought her a nice present.

Wednesday

Today Peg did laundry and I got about 1/2 the motorhome washed.

Then we had to go shopping for grub

One does have to eat(we also needed wine and beer)
One does have to drink.

So that's about it

Tuesday-TGO Titusville

                                Today we went golfing.

                                There is a course right here in the campground.

                                 Peggy was playing pretty good

                                 And I was not

The fact is-she would have beat me straight up but I decided to get into her head on 17.

A man has to do what a man has to do.
Saved the day
However I did lose the match cause her handicap is way too high.

That meant I had to buy.

So it's off to the lounge where we hit the jackpot again.
2 for 1 happy hour

It's great having a lounge on the grounds as there are no check-stops on the way home




The following are the only kinds of birdies we saw on the course today.

Monday January 25th

Hey!

Only 11 months till Christmas.

We took the motorhome to La Mesa RV in Sanford to get a couple of warranty items looked after.
They were great,got us in,fixed everything and we were underway in a matter of hours.

While we were waiting we took a trip up to Daytona Beach

Went for a drive on the beach.

t's a great beach for driving,miles and miles of beach

The day was a little cloudy and windy and the water was wild,but what the hell.

Some members of our family did not like the rules.

SATURDAY

Went for a bike ride to check out the park.

Seems to have everything-private golf course,2 restaurants,a lounge,2 pools,hot tub,exercise center which we can even use.RV parts,accessories and service,a dog park,walking trail and a whole bunch of other crap we will never use.Nice place,very big with good size sites.

So we tried out the pool so we could rest our weary asses.

Then we returned to sit outside, tip a few and spend way way too many hours watching

Friday

Today was a moving day.

We are now in Titusville,close to Cape Canaveral and there is supposed to be a launch on Feb 7th.

After we leave,of course.

The new campground is massive and appears to have some neat shit,we will see.
It is sunny and hot but still quite muggy  after the horrendous storm we drove through.

Tomorrow we will check out things.

THURSDAY

Today was hot but windy.

So we went for a drive.

Once again,we got to see how the rich live.

Very nice.

Then it was pick up the parts I had ordered and head home
Time to do a little packing up as we are heading to Titusville tomorrow.

Decided to see if some of the stuff I ordered will fit.   NOT!
Wrong size was substituted.Great,I will have to return in the morning.

Wednesday

I went to the outdoor market down the street to get some fresh fruit and veggies while Peg mucked around the house.

Not a lot to report,just hung around and enjoyed the weather.

Tuesday

Twas a quiet day.

One of those alcohol free days you think you need once in a while,just to convince yourself you can do it.

It was warm but not sunny enough to go to the pool,maybe tomorrow

Peg had to do some xo1!*,I mean *&xO

I just don't seem to be able to say that 4 letter word.
Maybe if I just spell it out  w  o   r   k.
The good news is maybe because she did all that @xo&,we will get to stay away longer?

In the meantime I pissed around outside doing blue jobs.

                                     I also updated our tacky sticker map

Monday

Today Peg did some house cleaning and I went grocery shopping.

You did?

Yup,I did.

Then we went to the pool,relaxed,read and strained my eyes.(seems like a pool requirement here is large breasts).I fit right in!
I also think we will have to go back tomorrow.

After the pool,we had happy hour with the neighbours Sandy and Dick and their friends Jenny and Mike.They are all from northern Georgia.
After happy hour it was off to their place for dinner.
We had a wonderful time with some great people.
What a country.

Sunday-Palm Beach

Ditched the mutts at Pet Smart for a new doo and headed for Palm Beach.

WOW! I think they cut the grass with scissors.

I have never seen mansions like this.
Pictures don't work as you only see some parts through the foliage but they were fantastic

Where the hell do people get all this money?

I know it was Sunday but we did not enter.

After seeing this unbalance of wealth we needed a drink

Trouble is the bastard at the gate would not let us in!

Not a lot to report.

Peg went to the gym but it's owners only,no guests.
She was not a happy camper.

I went to the RV store- ordered some crap that should be here next week

Installed my new tire monitoring system-it's not quite working right

Friday-West Palm Beach

Today we traveled to West Palm Beach Fl.

It was a 41 mile trip that we traveled 62 miles and it took us over 3 hours.

How bout that! Sunfeekers!
